Can I claim my father's caste in central govt exam

Sir, I lived in chhattisgarh from my childhood . My father was migrated from bihar. Our caste is treated as general in chhattisgarh, but it's treated as OBC in bihar.SO can I put OBC certificate of bihar in central exam recruitment?
The issue of caste certificate will be from your origin place. If you change the state they will not issue the caste certificate. If you are settled in that state then they will issue caste certificate. Burden of proof of caste lies on you. You can apply the caste in the central government exam as given by the state of Bihar.
