My wife is cheating on me. What action can I take?
Firstly we would advice you to consult a marriage counselor as problem doesn't seem so complicated.
But if you think you are unable to continue the marriage then you can file for divorce on grounds of mental cruelty and adultery under Section 13(1) of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955.
You can also file a criminal complaint of adultery against the man with whom your wife has an affair - you will need to furnish some proofs of the alleged affair.
