What is the cost to file a Divorce and Quash it

Hi sir, I would like to take divorce from my wife due to separation around 2 years. I consulted a Lawyer in Hyderabad and explained my situation, he listened carefully and suggested to take Divorce in the ground of cruelty, I paid 10 thousand rupees initially for this discussion. Later he is asking 50 thousand rupees to file a Divorce case in the court and he told me that "We will discuss my fees after the registration". My wife filed cases 498a, DVC, etc on my family around 8 members including me. The lawyer is asking me 10 thousand on each person to apply for "Quash" and not giving assurance of Quash results. OMG!! Divorce registration will that take 50K, Quash 10K each person and what about remaining process. Please suggest me what should I do. Can I file one more Divorce case on my lawyer as well :)

The Fee of Lawyer is charged as per law according to Advocate Fee Rules. But now so many advocates did not follow the Advocate Fee Rules as they were not according to present rates of inflation. Thy were set long back. Now advocates are charging as per their seniority and other social backgrounds. I should not comment on my friend advocates on charging fee. If you are not able to pay, you may engage another advocate of your choice by initially asking the total fee and if you afford to pay you can engage.
