Query about Divorce Case Proceedings. What are my options

14-May-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I have filed divorce petition with Ghaziabad Court on 31.01.2017 after 10 years of marriage. As mutual consent petition was not agreed upon I had filed for legal separation. The notice was served and hearing was fixed for 01.05.2017 however no reply was filed and no one appeared on behalf of the other party, now the hearing is fixed for 18.08.2017. Earlier my advocate had told that ex-partie decree would be granted if the other party do not file any reply and do not appear for hearing. However during my last conversation he informed that it will further time for finalisation of the divorce decree. I want to know that how much time will it usually take to award divorce decree in case of no appearance by the other party without mutual consent. How many notices/reminder are sent for non submission/appearance for proceedings and when is the lastest could the other party file reply/appear for proceedings.

See you have to satisfy court that other party is properly summoned and they are deliberately not appearing in court. On this court will pass order to proceed exparty and after formal evidence u will be granted divorce. For More brief u may call me
