Married due to family pressure and don't want to live with spouse now

If someone is married to someone in family pressure and don't want to live with his spouse. Can he get divorce? And after how much time? Shortest time?

Firstly, make it clear that, if at the time of marriage a person had unwillingly married under family influence, being of adult age, cannot repudiate the marriage.

Secondly, not willing to live is never a ground for getting divorce. Divorce can be given only on specific grounds given under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

Thirdly, if you still want to get divorced, you can opt for divorce by mutual consent. But, if your spouse does not agree, then you will have to file a petition of divorce in which you will have to prove grounds for getting divorce against your spouse.

Yes there are several ground under Hindu law to get relief under section 13 after at leat a year of marrainge. The query doesn't disclose whether it's the case of boy or the girl rather time period and other conditions are too not mentioned. These types of cases are very sensitive and also need counselling prior to come up with suggestion which mushy be interpreted by the client in its lien why could be harmful too.
