Husband wants divorce because girl had relationship before marriage

My relative's daughter got married recently.Their marriage was short-lived.The boy's version is that the girl seemed to have confessed to him about her affair & physical relationship previous to marriage even before their new marriage commensurated But the newly wedded commensurated their marriage , but subsequently discussed with their family & sent back the girl to her parent's house. The boy wants separation without alimony so chose to erase the marriage, denying their commensuration of the marriage as there is no evidence for it. Will the girl get any favorable result in the court?

If the marriage is less than one year and if both agree to get separated then he can apply for annulment of marriage on the grounds of her adulterous life and non-consummation of marriage.
If the girl is not willing take up the said blames and get her marriage nullified, she may challenge his move and put up a strong fight.
Alternately if they wait for one year and file a divorce on the grounds of mutual consent then the entire problem can be solved without hard feelings in both the sides.
