Husband Filled for divorce after 2 years of marriage

11-Sep-2023 (In Divorce Law)
Sir, we got married in June 2015. Then after 1 month my husband started quarreling with me on small issues, calling me name and speaking bad words about family, showing dislike towards me and torturing me saying I will give you divorce. He used to call his mother and sister on small issues and complain about me. I tried to adjust a lot but he was not happy. He then called my parents also few times and disrespected them. I tried to keep him happy a lot but all in vain. Then , finally after 1 year in June 2016, my parents came to visit us and he said that he can divorce and asked us to leave his house immediately. From then we are separately living till now Separately 2017. During this time , he called me only 3-4 times and said you can come back if you want or else give mutual divorce.i have put certain conditions on this that he has to apologize to me and my parents and if ready to change then only I will come back. He is not agreed to this. His lawyer has called me lastweek to discuss

if you are not seeking for divorce, then file restitution of conjugal rights and right to residence under DV act, dont give to his whims and fancies he and his lawyer will manipulate and will try to force things upon you. detailed discussion is compulsory.

you dont agree to divorce... Because the whole law will support you. There is several laws to protect you. you can file Domestic violence and cruelty petition against your husband. And also you can claim for maintenance. So dont agree to divorce. Be stong in mind. your husband cant do anything against you. Discuss with your family members and your Advocate.
