How to deal with a fraudulent vehicle sold to me

27-May-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I have bought a vehicle by Mr X last Month on where is where as basis but Mr x told me that vehicle is in his drivers name and he will give me all the papers which he gave all the papers sign by his driver and he told me that there is no issue on the vehicle. But after paying tax and getting insurance done the vehicle is not getting transfer as the update on the vehicle in RTO is not for transfer. Now Mr X's driver on whose name vehicle was is not contactable and the vehicle is not getting transferred. And Mr X is telling me to wait for some time but its been more than a month. We have paid the vehicle amount upfront by RTGS, got the sign of the person that we have paid. Paid the tax for 2 years and also the insurance amount. Now what should I do do get my money back in case the vehicle is not transfer in my name.As to the person I have paid money is not ready to give my money back.

It will be transferred in your name, if it is not done then you can register a FIR for cheating under section 420 of IPC against the said owner of the bike.
