Shopkeeper charging products above MRP

Dear Sir/Mam Suggest me if any shopkeeper or hotel manager etc charge more then the MRP, what kind of action we can take.

If you are being charged over and above the MRP you can approach the consumer court, depending upon the value involved you can approach the district forum, the state commission or national commission. it amounts to cheating by the shop keeper and thus high penalties are imposed for such offences.

This is unfair trade practice under consumer Protection Act and therefore a consumer complaint can be filed against the shopkeeper. You can also inform about it to concerned department in the government who may take action against him
