Closed bank account 5 months before still receiving bank statements

27-Jun-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I had a credit card from SBI and due to poor customer service, I decided to close my account It's been 4 - 5 months since my account is closed but I continue to receive my statements asking me to pay something. I want to file a law suit against the bank for harassing me every month. It's been multiple emails that I receive every month which says that my account has a 0 balance and the account is closed and I will not receive any statement going forward.

Yes you may file in case it's harassments,
First do confirm if it's technical mistake or intentional ,hence you need to take care of that ,also since it's government organization hence that also to be taken care ,so that's the issues . ofc: Adv pankaj Kumar .

You have not disclosed whether you have closed your account on which date and also you have not disclosed that whether you have surrendered your Credit Card by settling all dues with that bank. Moreover you have not disclosed that what amount the bank is claiming against you. Without all these details neither we can approach any court nor file anycase. Further if you recieve any notice from bank we can take action against that bank

Dear Sir/Madam, if you have really closed your bank account, even after to get the emails for payments or statements etc., you have to give one representation to the Bank to stop all these things, if they have continued the same, you have to issued a legal notice to the said Bank for harassment and to you have to claim compensation for this. If you want my legal service I will do it.
