My cheque for the bike finance emi has dishonored BT I have immediately cleared the amount . now the payee is asking me to pay the fine of Rs.15000 for cheque bounce. Will I have to pay the for him.. Pls advise me.
No, you are not liable to pay any fine to any body. If the person takes legal action against you and sends you a legal notice or files a case then you are liable to pay if and so found guilty. On mere saying of a person you are not liable to pay any kind of fine
