Cheque bounce received from company which bounced how to recover

i am a doctor..i worked for 1.5 months in a hospital where the salary ws irregular.i decidedto resign and they promised to pay my salary in cheque.The cheque bounced and it appers they are not willing to pay now.How can proceedlegally feom here on?

Dear Querist,
If the cheque has bounced, on receipt of the Bankers memo from the Bank u have to issue a statutory legal notice within 30 days from the date of receipt of it giving him 15 days time to repay the entire cheque amount, if he does not pay then u will have to file a cheque dishonour case within 30 days on failure to pay the cheque amount.

I suggest you to first issue a legal notice through your advocate within 30 days from the date of bank memo i.e. cheque bounce date. thereafter you can file a cheque bounce case before the jurisdictional magistrate.
