Cheque bounce conviction

In cheque bounce case... If convicted for 1 year with penalty... Kindly share how to eliminate the 1 year period. Judgement given by lower court.

Kindly file appeal before the district sessions court against the order passed by the magistrate. See if you can settle the amount partly as of now if you have wilfully dishonoured the cheque. If not you can contest the matter by filling an appeal as said above.

You can file an appeal immediately and get the conviction stayed. If you have a good case you can win in the Appeal. If you have a bad case then after filing the appeal you can ask for mediation and try to go for a settlement.
