How to get transfer from govt school on the grounds of distance

26-Aug-2023 (In Arbitration Law)
My wife is working in a Govt. aided school in Nadia Dist., since past 9 years. Before marriage she was residing in Bongaon, which is around 75 KM away through rail/road way from her school and she used to stay in hostel. After marriage in 2013 she is now in my residence at Madhyamgram and now the distance from school is approximately 125 KM. We have baby girl around 3.5 yrs old, I am working in private firm and used to travel frequently, my parents suffering from old age problem and cant able to take care of my daughter for long hours, as my wife everyday leaving 5:45 AM for school and coming back at around 8:30-9:00 PM. She applied for transfer on distance ground and it is un-replied. Kindly let us know the merit of the case that, if I can lodge a complain to get the transfer within 25 KM periphery of our residence. How and where should we complain?

As per the rules of service she may seek transfer if the same is not replied than ask her to send them the reminder and in case they failed to reply the reminder in that event you may file a case in the court of law for seeking transfer to the nearest place if the vacancy persists as per the norms.

As this is a government school another complaint can be issued to the directorate of school authority and also give a copy of the said complaint to the school she is presently working in. If the said directorate does not take any steps you may file a legal complaint and then a writ before the high Court
