Breach Of Promise Of Marriage.

I had a physical relationship with my bf on the promise of marriage. I am a divorce and he knew my situation and made physical relationship with me. He continued relationship with me for one year and then got engaged somewhere else without my knowledge. I even have a recording confessing him that he made physical relationship with me on the promise of marriage. I filed a comply against him in a nearby police station. The IO called him in which he said that he wants to marry me now. Can i file any FIR against him? And if yes will he get conviction?

You should immediately file a complaint in writing and address it to the police station according to your jurisdiction and then after taking the DD number you need to approach the court under section 156(3) CrPC for registration of FIR against him. And this all comes into the crime of rape only.
