Whether Registered will needs probation in the capital city

If there is a will duly registered involving a transfer of a property to the beneficiary. does it need to be probated first or can the beneficiary who is a son of the testator get the property mutated in his name as per registered will of his father.

There is no need for Probate in Delhi. Probate is not mandatory in the capital city. You cannot be denied services in the absence of a Probate.
Mutation can be done on the basis of the registered Will.

Dear Client ,

Yes once the will is registered than after the dead of testator the son of testator has to first probate that will in the probate court after obtaining the decree/order in his favour the son of testator mutated that property in his name.Dear client u can contact me for more clarification and I m happy to help u.

If the will is registered then no probate is required the beneficiary can straight away apply for transfer of property in his or her name in the concerned department . After requisite documents the concerned department shall transfer the property in the name of the beneficiary.
