Can I file writ of mandamus to direct municipal corporation to demolish a booked illegal construction violating bye laws of building for which municipal corporation is sleeping over the file for a long period
you have to approach the high court first because under article 226 the power is much wider than 32, i would recommend you to file mandamus writ before High Court rather than Supreme, even as a orocedural practice we go High court.

Yes you can file but for that you need to have really strong evidence so that it can be presented properly and will be accepted in court. Otherwise it can be reverted back with high cost by the high court.
