hello,
i working in a PSU and my reporting manager is harassing me since long. Now in a forged complaint against me, he has mentioned about me belonging to a particular caste under SC in Official papers causing public humiliation to me. What action can I take against him in this matter legally. The document has him clearly mentioning about me belonging to a special caste and taking advantage of that caste. and also referred about another employee as testimonial to that where as i have written many times about him mentally harassing me to higher authorities but action taken in that matter. he himself is a ST member. Please suggest some remedies as i have suffering at his hands since long.

You can go ahead and file a defamation case against the person and ask for compensation in the Court for the reputational lost that they have caused to you.

What exactly is the allegation made and do you wish to take this forward by filing a case on this.
If he has done anything to humiliate you in public, then you can definitely proceed for filing of a complaint.

You can write to your concerned department if at all one exists in your office and if not then then second advise would be to serve notice to that individual and office which will take care of some issues in hand for temporary period and final remedy would be to approach the court to settle this for once and all
