In Delhi, will need not be registered but should have 2 witnesses. Secondly, one can not verify about will unless he/she has registration number and year of the document registered with sub registrar.

Hello
Let's start with your querry with number one, for your information the will is not necessarily required to be registered, it can be a unregistered will as well and the same has almost equal value like one which is registered.

secondly it can only be checked at the registrar office where documents are being registered whether it is registered or not.

Yes
You are equally entitle to your father's property as your brother if your father has died interstate.
Unregistered will too have some significance if it is executed in good senses. But it can be challenged on many grounds.
You can apply to the concerned registrar/sdm office for enquiring about the same.
Else , you can simply send a legal notice to your brother for partition , he himself will gonna tell you about any will or document in his favor.
