Procedure and means to file for RTI against the university

I want to file rti against my university for seeking information about correction in my degree and printing of the same. I know the public information officer address but i dont know the process to file rti. State:uttarpradesh I want to know the means of sending rti like by post,speedpost or courier and how to get receipt of receiving the rti.
You can file RTI in Government Institutions/organizations, you should down an application to Public Information Officer Organizations name .... Address, and writte your points on which you want informations, please remember that you can't ask any question out of the document which the organization hold as a public duty. You can send it by speed post or by a registered post with 10/- Rs postal order. Your postal recipit is a confirmation document for your RTI application.
