Regarding Authenticity of Cheque

22-Nov-2023 (In Recovery Law)
A customer has purchased goods from my shop and offered me a bank cheque of Rs. 3 Lakhs. Goods has been delivered to him. But I have one doubt that he has signed in Hindi while most of my customers sign in English. I wish to know if cheque bounces due to mismatch of signature, Can I still proceed with legal action. Please Help.

Yes...if the cheque bounced it will be the fault of the person who issued it and you can always file a petition under section 138 NI Act and claim your money back along with compensation. But firstly you need to issue him/her a legal notice regarding the bounced cheque. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Yes you can file case under section 138 of NI Act whether the cheque was mismatched and the chances to win also high. before filling the complaint in the court as you have to serve a legal notice to him. If you want any further query about this then you can contact me
