Received legal notice due to non payment of credit card dues

I had received legal notice from SBI card for non payment of credit card dues from 2 months as I had in financial problem and unable to make payment and also I had requested bank over email for settlement
First and foremost we will have to reply to the legal notice of the bank, where in we also state our circumstances following which we are/were unable to pay the dues.
Additionally, we can put forth the contentions and terms to be agreed upon for settlement.
