Promissory note issue : received a notice before the expiry period

Promissory note issue that the person send a notice with in 3 years of period to my family to pay 5 lacks we are not aware of that my dad has passed away it's been 5 years now and that is a fraud because at the time of the execution of promissory note we are in hospital my dad was treating in hospital for cancer after all the thing we also replied with a notice it is not a truth now after 5 years he was making defame of us in village and stoping my house construction pls help us

hi first need to see the contents of the notice received and the reply given by you and need to see whether he took any further action in the matter and if he is trying to stop construction then you could file suit for injunction against him
