NCDRC respondent to a revision petition

27-Jul-2023 (In Recovery Law)
I had filed a complaint in District consumer forum in Bangalore against a developer. I won the case. The District forum ordered the developer to refund the money to me. He challenged the order in State forum in Bangalore. The state forum dismissed the challenge and ordered to refund the money to me. Now, it is being challenged in National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) Delhi. Can I fight this case without a advocate? I have already spent money with no returns

Yes...you will need an advocate to represent your case in the NCDRC and it's the last time you need to shed out your money to win the case and claim your money back. In your reply to the petition filed you just need to attach the dismissal orders from the District as well as the State forum. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

Hi. For fighting the case in NCDRC you do have the right to appear in person but you will have to travel to Delhi for it. Please do keep in mind that builders sometimes go till Supreme Court too so you might want to consider hiring a local advocate in Delhi for a reasonable amount. Do contact me for a detailed discussion if interested.

You can fight the case without an advocate but unfortunately there are chances that you might face problems because for all small things you can’t visit delhi. It is recommended that you keep a lawyer in delhi so that he can manage dates. Every time coming to delhi will also be very expensive for you. Regards Sanchit Goyal Advocate
