My Dad is currently running a fast food shop and there is a court case going on him for a loan which he haven't payed. The bank is asking for 4lac for settlement and my dad can only pay 2 lac . I want to know can court take any action against me as i'm earning or on my savings or ask me as a son to pay that loan.

Hello Sir,

Firstly, tell us first whether the loan was taken jointly by (father & son both) or father only. Secondly, if loan was taken by your father only then court will not take action against you as you are not the party. Thirdly, what type of loan is it?

Kindly contact to have a conversation.

Thanks,

yes in a situation the burden comes on you. but before that you can ask bank to give relief or else can opt for arbitration and mediation.
where after looking after the condition, relief will be provided to you.
