Lend money to a friend how can I recover it

Hi. You can get agreement drafted between yourself and your friend.
So that incase he refuses we can file a civil suit under Order XXXVII, CPC, 1908 for recovering the amount lent to your friend.

From your querry it appers to me that you have got signed a promissory note from your friend. Limitation for recovery money is 3 years. You need to clearify the mode of lending money. Whether it was through any banking trasnaction if not try get issued a cheque from him in your favour. So that you may have strong possibility of recovering the loan amount. Otherwise you can go for suit for recovery of money which is a civil procedure.

firstly try to take a cheque of any future date.
Secondly try to take his signature on an agreement, which I shall draft for you.
Thirdly try to take his signature on a promisory note.
there are number of ways by which you can create evidence of payment made by you.
