02-Apr-2025 (In Recovery Law)
I am a contractor and manpower supplier I took a work from that company. After completing all the work mentioned in the work order given by the company the company more precisely one of the founders of the company refused to pay my money I had done the work in 2021. I know it sound very late but I hired a lawyer to for this eventually after giving him money and all he filed the case in the starting of 2022 after that the case is getting delayed and delayed now. Could you please tell me what next

First of all rather than going legally you should serve him/her a legal notice and in that notice you can write that either pay my money or face legal action which will be at your own risk. After that if he/she fails to give you a satisfactory reply then you can anytime file a recovery suit in the court to claim your money back along with compensations.

Dear client, It seems like your case is facing procedural delays. You can take the following steps: 1.Check the Case Status: Track the case progress on the court’s website to understand the reasons for delays. I can help you in this if you can provide me civil case number with the district court name. 3.File an Expedited Hearing Application: If the case is unnecessarily delayed, you may request the court for an early hearing. 4.Explore Alternative Legal Remedies: If the case is stuck, consider filing a summary suit under Order 37 CPC for faster recovery, or sending a legal notice if not done earlier or commercial suit. 5.Settlement Possibility: If feasible, negotiate with the opposite party for a settlement to save time and legal costs.

Dear Client In case the recovery amount was above 2 cr. CIRP process against the company could have been initiated. In case a recovery suit against the Company has already been filed, an opinion will have to be given after going through the case file for highlighting any reason for inordinate delay. Feel free to get in touch.

In order to ascertain the stage of the case, we need to assess that whether the pleadings have been completed in this matter and the issues are framed or not then only we can give better clarity as to the progress of the case
