How to get a copy of ChargeSheet

09-Apr-2023 (In Recovery Law)
The PS informed my lawyer that a Chargesheet has been filed against my FIR more than a month ago. How can I get a copy of the CS? Can this be obtained online? My lawyer says that this takes time. Isn't a month's time sufficient? Can I get the CS copy if I approach the relevant office in person? And which office should I approach.

A months time is sufficient. The chargesheet should be submitted to the magistrate. Ask the investigating officer to give you details of the case number. You can apply for a certified copy in court concerned of the matter or wait for summons to be issued from the court and then apply.

Respected To get charge sheet whihc is submitted by the respective police station., please apply for the certified copy of the same into the resepctive court where the case is pending. Some time due to court office work, they will make delay in issuence of the certified copies. Please visit the pending section of the resepctive court and confirm the same.
