HDFC bank lost registered sales for agreement & registration receipt

Hi Sir I have paid my home loan along with the receipt. However when I approached to bank, came to know that they have lost my registered sales for agreement and receipt. What can I do in case. Shall I file case in consumer court. Will I need to visit court often I work in Gurgaon and the property and loan is in Jodhpur

you can send a legal notice to the concern bank before moving to the consumer consumer court.
a minimum of 15 days may be granted to the bank and if in case they failed to comply with affirmation you can proceed with consumer complaint.

That's sad to know that that they have lost the registered documents. Yes, you can definitely file a case against them. No you'll not be required to be personally present there in the court often. Maximum 2-3 times that too based on your convenience.
