HDFC bank lost registered sales for agreement & registration receipt

Hi Sir
I have paid my home loan along with the receipt. However when I approached to bank, came to know that they have lost my registered sales for agreement and receipt. What can I do in case. Shall I file case in consumer court. Will I need to visit court often I work in Gurgaon and the property and loan is in Jodhpur

That's sad to know that that they have lost the registered documents. Yes, you can definitely file a case against them. No you'll not be required to be personally present there in the court often. Maximum 2-3 times that too based on your convenience.
