13-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello Sir, I'm a retired person. Two years ago I had married my eldest son and buy 1 flat at that time. I have invested my retirement money in the house. The flat is in the name of my eldest son. Total cost of flat is 35 lakh. I have invested 12 lakh And the remaining amount is paid by my eldest son by Loan. My son is no longer in my saying and get rid of us. right now i am leaving with my wife and younger son on rent. My younger son is studying which is going to cost me a lot. Besides, there is also a second social relation. Can I ask for a sum for this? Or can I have add my my name in flat document without informing my eldest son? what can i do in legal issue, If my son refuses to pay?
Sir, I know this is painful. If your son is not returning your money then send a legal notice to your son through a lawyer demanding money from him. You cannot include your name in the property without permission of your son. So, it is better to send him legal notice giving him two optionseither pay the full amount or enter your name as co-owner in the property.
