If you have a registered will go ahead and get the mutation done in your name.Go ahead file an application for mutation in Tehsildar's office of your zone. Before that give a notice stating that if any of the person have objection regarding mutation of the property can come forward .Thereafter you can get mutation done.

In Preliminary opinion: You need to appraoch the tahasildar office/authorities with mutation application and receipt of fee paid for property as per the will executed. Need to carry death certificate of your father, your birth certificate/adhar card to prove you are his lega heir

If the property is in Delhi, and the Will was registered in Delhi, then the SDM concerned can act on the Will without any requirement of obtaining probate and you can simply apply for "mutation" of the title on the basis of the registered Will and NoC from any other legal heir.
For most other states, probate is required.

There is no need to get the name changed if you want to sell the property then the same can be sold as it is otherwise the document itself is a title document. Still if you want your name in the various departments then application can be made to the concerned department for the same. Else you can go for probate of the will through court since there is a will and then go for conveyance of the property in your name.
