Hi
In case of a will you need to file for a probate procedure in which the court will certify the will and after that you may proceed for mutation of the property in your name. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your query in further detail.

In case where your father has made a registered will, to gain ownership of your father's properties you have to apply for a Probate.
A Probate is obtained after an application is filed with the District Judge.
Usually to get a Probate takes atleast 5-6 months if no objections are raised by any other legal heirs.

take step as early as possible....file for suit for declaration on basis of will and claim the share... the early the steps taken the better it is.... this is the lawfully procedure to go ahead in your case

As well as being done in your favour by your father and they are not talking terms between your brothers and sisters so you could file case for probate of will so that court will summon them the will will be proved by the sub registrar
