I'm in the process of buying a property in Panchayat area, Kolkata. I'm now in the UAE. I've no plans to visit India soon. For registration my builder asked to give POA to my mom. nQuestion:n1. Can I give a general POA or it has to be specific to the property registration?n2. I am getting POA stamped by Indian embassy, UAE. Does it need to be registered in Kolkata ONLY, where my permanent address is? OR it can be registered by the ATTORNEY (my mom) in other registration office in WEST BENGAL (e.g. MALDA, as my mom lives there)?n3. What is the stamp duty & registration fee, for POA, considering the POA holder is my MOTHER?
dear client as per your query since you are buying a property in the panchayat area , Kolkata and since you cannot visit Kolkata now so you can give POA to your mother stamp duty and registration fees of POA will be not less then 18000 you can consult me online...

Such Foreign POA has to be specific in respect of that property with all the relevant clauses and after necessary apostillation by Indian Embassy in UAE when it is to be sent at West Bengal, until and unless it is duly authenticated in proper manner within three months therefrom by the concerned Government Authority at Kolkata, it cannot be used for Registration at anywhere in West Bengal.
