Should I accept the summons if my name

29-Nov-2024 (In Property Law)
My uncle has file a property suit on all the family members including me. Case was filed on 19th November but i haven't yet received the summons. Should I receive the summons if my name is spelt wrong or my name on the summons is different? My brothers do not reside with us but outside state. Should we receive their summons?

You have to accept the summons. /notice otherwise it's going to be adverse in court or else if you have no interest in the case ignore it but you have to check the documents if something against you you can contest

It is not important that your name must be correctly spelt in the spelling, what is important is the someone's reached you but returned, if you did not accept itcourt will treat that as Surroor to you and will place you ex parte, at the casual continue as if you are attending it. Aisa just You to take it and fight the case on whatever merits is on your side.
