RIGHT TO CLAIM PROPERTY ON ADVERSE POSSESSION

Sir , my ancestor through neighbor purchased land 15 x 15 ft in 1956 for cow shelter purpose without any registrations & we are in occupancy of property till date . But today the seller son demanding us to vacate the land as he holds the ownership as per document . Pls. advise me to get rid of legal implications & to safe guard property with me on adverse possession basis.

You can claim your right in the property if you are stayed in any place more than 30 years. But 30 years tax paid receipt is must. You can file a case before the court in your jurisdiction. If you need further advice please contact me.
