Right of daughter over father's self acquired property

My father died on 1997 by illness. I married in 1990 & settled in Chattisgarh. My father not made any will for property. We are 3 brothers and 2 sisters. As a daughter could I get any part in property as per law

Yes you have equal right that of your brothers as per the new amendment as well the judgment of the honourable suprem cout the sisters also have the equal rights that of the brother so you can claim your share

As per the Indian Succession Act you have right in the property of your father as a legal heirs because in 2005 amendment has come where it is settled law that girl have right in ancestral property.. feel free to call me through lawrato.com

As per ur case mam ur father didnt made any will before his death making all successor equally owner in the property whatever be it.
U have right over the property as there is no will legally standing .U should file a case district judge court where property reside and urge a request to divide the property equally between its claimer

yes! as per the order of supreme court you are entitle for equal portion in your father's property.
in case your brothers have partitioned,thay have to obtain NO OBJECTION from you before registration of the same,hence power is in your hand so you do not need to worry.
The new Section 6 provides for parity of rights in the coparcenary property among male and female members of a joint Hindu family on and from September 9, 2005. The legislature has now conferred substantive right in favour of the daughters.
