Refund of money if the project does not show signs of development

24-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, We had invested Rs. 5 lakh each in 2 flats in a project. The total paid amount is around INR 10 lakhs. The project is significantly delayed and there are no further hopes of development. Is there a way we can claim our money back ? Thanks & Regards

Is this project registered in real estate regulations act? If yes and builder not give you possession in time then you have to complaint against them and want money back which you both invested with interest

you have right to claim refund of your money if the builder is not complying terms and conditions of the allotment letter. To get refund you need to file complaint under new law. for filing complaint you will require expert advise and drafting. you will get money along with interest.

On the above-mentioned query please file immediately 2 complaint individually against the builder in RERA TRIBUNAL for this issue. And mention the date of possession given by the builder in the agreement. After the filling of complaint the tribunal sort out your issue as early as possible or within 90 days.
