Hi Sir/Madam, This year I have purchased an agriculture land from sham and Shanti Devi(mother of Shaam ) they got that property after death of Mr. Anand ( Father of Shaam ), Registry has been done and both mother and son have given their thumb impression and completed the property registration but due to objection from sham brother, mutation is in a hold. Now sham brother is not giving any NOC and asking for more money. It seem's that we got into a trap. We are not finding anyway. Please suggest legal angle.

Dear Sir, One of my friends (a 22-year-old woman) is being blackmailed by someone on WhatsApp and over phone calls. The blackmailer is threatening to make her private photos, taken by her boyfriend a year ago, go viral. He is demanding a physical relationship in exchange for not sharing the images. My friend is extremely distressed and is considering suicide. Please advise on what to do if someone is blackmailing with photos in India? Reassure her not to worry and advise her to visit the police station to file a First Information Report (FIR) against the blackmailer under Section 354 IPC (Section 74 of BNS) and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act. Also, encourage her not to consider suicide and let her know that legal help is available to address the situation.
