Depends whether your parents/ grand parents are alive or not, whether they have got their parts or the property is still joint. After knowing all the details advice can be given. Kindly contact me with details.

If your grandfather has died intestate, i.e. without creating a will, then all his legal heirs including you, will have share in the property.

If your grandfather had created a will in his lifetime, then the property will be disposed strictly according to his will.

For adding only your name, no objection certificate of all other heirs will be necessary. But, if you are the only heir left, then you can add your name without any kind of no objection certificate.

No you can not add your name in your grandfather property unless and until he willfully transfer it to you.another thing is weather your grandfather is alive or not if he is no more then his property will transfers to grandmother/all children of your grandfather.

If property is parental property then you can file a civil suit for partition of property, If property is self acquired by grandfather and he is alive then you can not claim on property
