In Your grandfathers property you and your father have co parcenary rights. But the 30 houses if it is built by the self-acquired funds of your father he has the absolute right to spend it according to his choice. So do not fight with your father and try to get something from him by being an obedient son.

Hello, First of all your query is not clear. Still I would like to give you an answer to the extent of what I understood from your question. If your father has got plenty of wealth in terms of landed properties, or houses or liquid cash in his name, there is no law to give his children equally or in other proportion. It is purely his desire to give away his self acquired property to any body in this world. In the case of ancestral property the situation is different. Kindly contact me to clarify your doubts, if any. Thanks

You have not clearly mentioned whether the 30 rental home are exclusively purchased by your father or which is inherited. Only you can claim share on the inherited 2 cent land. If the 30 rental houses are inherited you can claim share by filing suit or otherwise you cannot. You father has absolute right to decide who can enjoy his property.
