Inheritance of self owned apartment

I purchased an apartment in Thane using my earnings. The apartment is solely in my name. What do I need to do so that the ownership of this property goes to my wife after I pass away (if I pass away earlier than her). Subsequently the property (apartment) ownership should go to my son ( we have only one child), I.e. after the demise of both of us.
You can do so by way of a Will. Pursuant to the Will, the property will go to your wife and after her to your child. Also, it is always better to register a Will. Feel free to contact me for seeking any legal assistance as regards the same.

Hi in such a case you as husband and wife can execute a Will wherein your respective properties will be bequeathed to each other during your lifetime and thereafter to your only child as you desire. Will is the most coomon thing in such type of transactions.

Well, you need to make a Will during your lifetime, which will take effect after your Death. Your Class - I Legal Heirs after your demise (May God bless & protect you) can get this Will converted into Probate by applying for it in Court, i.e, to seek Certified Copy of the Will, that is to get the Properties distributed in their name to own such.
