How to transfer mothers property on my name

I have house in my home town on my mothers name i want to transfer it on my name want to know about the options which are most convenient to transfer this property on my name my mother is living with me in noida.want to know about gifting the property on my name by my mother and the charges stamp duties etc.
The best is to get a WILL and register the same. It will be done at the place where property is situated. No stamp duty required. Only nominal expenses. The other option is write a gift deed and get it registered but it may require stamp duty which vary state to state. Your facts are incomplete. You have not mentioned number of family members etc

If property is agricultural land stamp duty charge 5percent of land value if property is non agricultural land then you have to pay 7percent stamp duty of land value. If you want save stam duty then contact me I will suggest you better advice

Your mother can directly write a will or gift deed in favour of u or can directly transfer to you in a registered agreement to gift or she can transfer the property or you can claim transferable right if ur mother is ready so its very easy else its unlawfull
