How to recover money from brother

Dear Sir I am an NRI working in . In the year 2015 JULY my younger brother forcefully compelled me to buy the land in the name of my Mother . Now even after construction of house over that piece of land he has not given me any money as promised. Now when i am wanting my land back he has convinced my mom to give 50 % share to him free of cost. I have all the transaction details of money sent from Dubai to my NRE Acct. Kindly advise what i can do to return back my hard earned money/property
Once the property is purchased in your mother's name she is the sole owner of that property. No doubt you have given money to purchase the land and once your brother has money he will give you, but there is no agreement to that effect. First of all get half share of that property then I can advice you further.

You can file a case misappropriation of money , cheating , and criminal breach of trust before the concerned police station , and if u want to move with a civil proceeding u can file a money suit or both the case at a same time

There is two choices of yours you would file money suit for recovery of your money or as per your fact as stated land is in the name of your mother and if your mother is ready to give your share then you may get it registered or transfer land in your name
