How to get my property registered?

Sir, I only have the holding no. Of my house in which I have been living. I have been paying the municipal tax on it. The municipal tax is being paid on my late grand mother's name. Now I want the property to be registered amongst my family member name. Please advice.?
Since the property is inherited by legal heirs ,hence,there is no need to get the property registered in the name of family members. Only You will have to take steps for mutation of name in the municipal records and for that you should take service of legal expert.

There must be some papers/documents which shows that property belongs to your grand mother. On the said basis you can get the property divided among family members and get the same registered and mutated
