How to claim share in Joint property located in an unauthorized colony

i m a joint owner of a plot in unuthorised colony which was purhcased in 2002 by way of unregistered "Agreement to sell n GPA" as prevelant at that very time in that locality. The property is in possession of my brother, being the co owner, n drawing a monthly rent of around Rs35000/-pm Please guide how to acquire my right of share in the property n the earnings therefrom
