How can i stop other legal heirs from selling the ancestral property

Respected Sir/ Madam. We have a old ancestral property in my hometown Bhavnagar (Gujarat, India). We have 8 direct heir of this property. In my case my grandfather is not exist but my Grandmother does. My father is not exist as he passed away in a car accident just 2 month ago. Now all other members want to sell this property , but i dont want to sell this house. Legally my name is there in Property Card but, i refuse to do signature on any paper which is related to selling this property. So my Question is : How can i legally stop this dealing & which is proper legal procedure for it? OR Can they sell this property without my consent, is it Possible? Hope this information is enough to you to understand the whole case. Thanks.
You will have to file suit before the Bhavnagar Civil Court and obtain STAY for selling the property without your consent otherwise it may become possible that without your consent they may sell it. You may contact me if you want to file the Suit.

No, they can not sell that property without your consent.
but as there are many heir, you should get solved it out all together.
In case you are enough competent you buy all others share over that property and become sole owner of it.

Yes, as you are saying they cannot sell themselves the said ancestral property without your consent. Moreover, now your name also in the property card so your have not to worry. And even if they want to sell then first they have to make partition of it and then only they can sell only the share of their part. But as this is residential property, it cannot be possible to make partition. Hence, you need not to worry, they can not sell it without your consent.
