Hello Sir. This is Adv. Shrikant Samantara.

You won’t have any claim, if the same is the self acquired property of your Grandmother, She may dispose it off in any manner whichever she wants.

However if the same property was not purchased by your grandmother but by your grandfather and the property was just registered in her name and actually it was for the benefit of the Family, you may file a partition suit to claim your share on the basis of Hindu Succession Act.

Feel free to contact for any other further queries.

Regards.

Hi
Yes you can claim in your grandmothers property
But i would like to know who all are there in the existing family
After that i will be able to tell you your share and your mother’s share in the same.

You can file the suit before the concerted court. After examining the case and listing the parties, the court will give the judgment in your favour. The only thing you have to do is to go to court and file the petition through your advocate.

Yes if your father died after your grandmother, your father would get a share and then you will get your fathers share along with other legal heirs if any. You can claim so by partition if the property.
