(hindufamily).Grandson's claim on his paternal grandmother's property.
06-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
Can I claim right on my grandmother's home if my father (her son) dies after the death of my grandmother.?
Hello Sir. This is Adv. Shrikant Samantara.
You won’t have any claim, if the same is the self acquired property of your Grandmother, She may dispose it off in any manner whichever she wants.
However if the same property was not purchased by your grandmother but by your grandfather and the property was just registered in her name and actually it was for the benefit of the Family, you may file a partition suit to claim your share on the basis of Hindu Succession Act.
Feel free to contact for any other further queries.
Regards.
