Government Aided Inter College Rural Area

16-Mar-2026 (In Property Law)
We have an Inter College set up by my late father. I am the Vice President of the school. The elections of the executive committee were held 2 months ago and the executive members were not given any written notice or information about the elections except for a sms and whatsapp which was sent 2 days before election date. The principal, manager and president have done this on purpose to remove most of the executive body people and have new ones. What action can I take.

If proper notice was not served to the members , any general body meetings shall be deemed to violation of due process. Notice through electronic means may be the second option after the manual notice through registered post. You must file an application registrar of society to cancel the proceedings .

You must file approach the high court under 226 stating it as strong case to file a writ petition seeking quashing of elections due to: Lack of proper notice Violation of bye-laws Malafide removal of members Stay on operation of newly formed committee Restraining them from taking major decisions
