Father's Deed forcefully kept and hide by my brother

11-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
What should I do as my brother forcefully kept and hide the original deed of my father. I don't have any Xerox copy or deed number. I think he might do anything wrong in my father's Deed. My father was died long ago.

If your brother by exercising force had done that mischief then you are entitled to lodge police compaint against him specifying his mala fide motive to destroy that Original Deed. However from your quare it is not clear why your brother had done so and what is the nature and character of that Deed. At the outset do not get panicked. Just go to your Located Police Station and file a GD against your brother . Please carry your Legar Heirship Certificate with yourself which will help your authentication.
