As per Hindu law daughter has equal right in the property acquired by the deceased father and in the case in hand father died in 1995 the daughter shall get equal share as her brother since property has been acquired by her father.

If father has not bequeathed the property or sold during his life time daughter can definitely ask for their share in the property but if there is a valid will executed and the same has been probated then you can object to such will
